About the Role
As an Experienced Used Car Buyer, you will be the driving force behind our inventory acquisition. This role is designed for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced team environment. You will manage all aspects of acquiring used-car inventory through direct contacts, generated leads, off-site auctions, dealer networks, and internet inquiries.
Your day will involve appraising vehicles, assessing their condition, and negotiating prices to make financially sound purchasing decisions. You will also play a key role in understanding retail trends and participating in the inventory planning process. Success in this position requires generating leads, creating appointments by researching the used car market, and meeting car buying quotas while delivering a premium customer experience through prompt, professional, and courteous communication.
