About the Team
The Department of Surgery at District Medical Group (DMG) is a not-for-profit faculty practice plan owned and operated by physicians. With more than 400 providers representing all major medical and surgical specialties, our team is dedicated to inter-professional teaching through the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance. We are home to the only Phoenix ACGME-accredited Surgical Critical Care residency and are one of only 13 hospitals nationwide accredited by the American College of Surgeons for Adult & Pediatric Trauma and Burns.
Our team staffs Valleywise Health, a community hospital in the metropolitan Phoenix area featuring a State and American College of Surgeons designated Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center. The department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including advanced endoscopic equipment, a urodynamic lab, and the da Vinci surgical robotic system.
About the Role
We have an immediate practice opportunity for a Urologist to join our Department of Surgery. This role is designed for a physician who thrives in a collaborative, teamwork-oriented environment and is eager to help develop and grow our robotics program for urology patients.
As a faculty member, you will serve our sponsored graduate medical education programs while assisting in the development of the clinical service line. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing inpatient and outpatient general urology services in both elective and emergent care settings, managing shared call coverage, and engaging in collaborative research activities.
