Universal Bankers serve as the cornerstone of our branch operations, seamlessly blending sales, servicing, and operational excellence. Available at multiple levels (UB I and UB II) to accommodate varying experience, this role is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment where building relationships is just as important as executing transactions.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of High Value Clients (HVC), identifying their banking needs, and cross-selling products to help them achieve their financial goals. Beyond transactional duties, you will act as a trusted advisor, referring customers to specialists when deeper expertise is required. The role demands a proactive approach to meeting operational, cross-sale, and referral goals while supporting the branch management team in coaching and development activities.
At the heart of this position is our commitment to our Core Values. You will interact with every internal and external customer through a "Voyaging Spirit," ensuring every action is driven by a "Positively Ohana" mindset. This means demonstrating empowerment, ownership, and thoroughness in every interaction, from active listening to delivering effective solutions.
Candidates will be evaluated based on their demonstrated success in sales, customer service, and branch operations. Specific certification requirements, such as completion of teller and new account certification within six months of hire (for UB I) or NMLS registration for Mortgage Loan Originator duties, will be addressed during the onboarding phase.
We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V. We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds to join our diverse team.
