Under the direction of the Community Bank Manager, this position serves as a vital customer-facing representative, embodying the Bank's promise of "Service Beyond Expectations" Begins with Me. The role is designed to be a demonstration of the Bank's commitment to client care, requiring a professional who can confidently navigate a sales and service environment while building genuine relationships.
In this dynamic position, you will perform a wide variety of duties ranging from opening consumer and business accounts to processing loans and lines of credit. You will act as a bridge for clients, identifying opportunities to refer them to specialized product lines such as mortgage, wealth management, business banking, investments, and insurance. The role demands a proactive approach to cross-selling next bank services and products, ensuring clients receive comprehensive financial solutions.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include assisting clients with account reconciliations, maintenance, online and mobile banking tools, wire transfers, and overdraft assistance. You will also be responsible for educating clients on bank systems, managing sales tracking and follow-up plans, and ensuring client retention. As a versatile team member, you will be cross-trained as a Customer Service Teller, ready to process deposits, checks, and payments, and to handle specific transactions like CDARS and IRA accounts when branch needs arise.
