The Underwriting Leadership Development Program is a full-time, dynamic, 4.5-year rotational program designed to develop individuals entering the Underwriting field into future leaders. Participants will rotate across a variety of business units, including Commercial, Government, and International businesses. This structure allows you to act as a strategic partner, pricing new and existing business, collaborating with internal partners in sales and account management, and working with actuarial teams to refine pricing based on future medical costs and trends. The program combines formal classroom and on-the-job training with mentorship, networking opportunities, and interaction with senior leaders.
The program begins on July 13, 2026. While the primary location is Hartford, CT, positions are available at multiple office locations across the country. The program offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring 2-3 days in the office, with the flexibility to work in offices that have fellow program professionals. We will take your preferred office location into consideration and attempt to accommodate it, though your final work location will be confirmed closer to the start date. Relocation assistance is provided for candidates who need to move over 50 miles. Please note that work visa sponsorship is not available for this role, including CPT, OPT, and F-1 Visa programs.
Our people fuel our future.
