About the Role
This temporary Construction Laborer position supports the construction of roads, home renovations, and various other projects. The role is designed for individuals who thrive in an active, outdoor construction environment and are committed to maintaining safety and efficiency on every job site.
Day in the Life
You will work up to twelve hours per day in all weather conditions. Your day involves recognizing and removing damaged or defective parts of structures, as well as loading and unloading materials. You will assist with job layout tools and materials while working collaboratively within a team environment. A key part of your responsibilities is demonstrating constant awareness of potential hazards to yourself, coworkers, and the public, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow at all times.
Qualifications & Culture
To succeed in this role, candidates must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. We prefer individuals who speak Yupik. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 lbs. All candidates must successfully pass a drug test prior to employment. If the role involves driving AVCP ATVs, completion of the AVCP driver training is required.
