As a keystone team member, the Facilities Manager plays a critical role in bringing this vision to life within a fast-paced, agile, collegiate environment.
This position serves as a subject matter expert and experienced leader responsible for the day-to-day operations of the property's buildings and equipment. The Facilities Manager ensures that the onsite team and third-party vendors deliver high-quality service while maintaining compliance with industry standards, Scion's Standard Operating Procedures, and all State/Federal government and OSHA codes.
The role demands superior problem-solving skills, unwavering follow-through, and the ability to manage complex building systems ranging from HVAC and plumbing to life safety and building automation. In addition to overseeing a single property, those in this position may be asked to assist other properties within the portfolio. The Facilities Manager acts as essential personnel during emergencies and works closely with General and Regional Managers to formulate and track facilities budgets and capital projects.
