As the TSM&O Manager-Freeways for District One, you will provide technical leadership and direction to Operations and Traffic Management Center (TMC) staff. Your primary focus is overseeing daily freeway operations, ensuring real-time monitoring of conditions, and coordinating timely responses to incidents. You will serve as the bridge between FDOT, consultants, contractors, and partner agencies to maintain safe and efficient traffic operations.
In this role, you will manage the implementation of key programs such as Traffic Incident Management (TIM), Road Rangers, traveler information systems (FL511), and freeway ITS infrastructure maintenance. You will engage in strategic planning to support the continuous improvement of FDOT's Transportation Systems Management & Operations program, ensuring adherence to statewide policies and the master plan.
