We are a business-minded estate planning law firm on track for aggressive growth. Our mission is to help families plan to preserve harmony, legacy, and wealth in the event of disability or death. We stand apart by providing clients with the peace of mind that they have a plan in place that will produce the results they expect. We also help prepare families for some of the most challenging times they will ever face, assuring them that they have a dependable team behind them that truly cares about them.
We are seeking an experienced Associate to join our team and work directly with the owners and attorneys to support our operations and serve our clients. This role exists to help families navigate the settlement process upon disability and following death in the best way possible. You will be a key member of our legal team, responsible for providing outstanding legal representation during the estate settlement and probate process. Your day will involve leading clients through the process quickly and efficiently, assisting with documentation for asset transfers, and providing direction regarding legal and fiduciary duties. You will also consult with prospective clients, lead them through our proprietary Estate Planning Processes, and prepare wills, trusts, and power of attorney documents. While you will handle legal research and draft pleadings, this role focuses on non-contested matters, allowing you to solve legal problems through strategic planning rather than litigation.
We are an effective team with a common purposeful goal. We understand that life is too short to work with people you don't like, and we believe that being the best can also be fun. Relationships are critical to our long-term success, and we are looking for someone who is empathetic, maintains composure under pressure, and enjoys working as a collaborative team member.
We are growing fast and need an Associate who can hit the ground running. If you are comfortable working with grieving and frustrated people, can juggle tasks while changing gears quickly, and are eager to take initiative with minimal handholding, we would love to hear from you.
