As a Driver, CDL-A, you will play a vital role in supporting America's food distribution system. This position involves operating a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver and unload food and food-related products to customers locally, both intrastate and interstate. You will serve as a key team member, ensuring that deliveries are made safely, timely, and in strict accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Your day will involve professional interaction with customers, vendors, and co-workers, answering questions accurately and maintaining a culture of respect. From performing pre-trip safety inspections and managing freight documentation to unloading products and handling customer returns, you will ensure the integrity of the supply chain while adhering to company safety standards.
This role is based at our Shepherdsville, KY location (439 Park Loop Rd.). The schedule features a 4-day work week, Monday through Friday, with dispatch times between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM. Optional overtime is available for those interested in additional hours.
