About the Role

As a Yard Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting America's food distribution system. You are responsible for moving tractor trailers to and from loading docks and parking loaded or empty trailers in designated areas. Your day will involve transporting tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and inspection facilities, requiring local city driving. You will also handle fueling, securing equipment, and performing general housekeeping duties in the tractor and loading dock areas. This role requires you to function as a collaborative team member, communicating professionally with co-workers and vendors to ensure all services are executed according to preferred work methods and customer service practices.
