About the Role

This entry-level driver training role is designed for individuals eager to learn and gain experience driving tractor-trailers or straight trucks on local, over-the-road, shuttle, and overnight routes. You will deliver and unload various food and food-related products to customers, ensuring all routes are completed safely in accordance with company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. As a Driver Trainee, you will function as a vital team member, communicating professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers to execute services according to preferred work methods and customer service practices.

Hiring Process

Candidates must meet specific licensing and safety requirements, including a valid CDL A, a clean Motor Vehicle Report for the past three years, and the ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check. The selection process includes a road test and verification of a valid DOT Health Card. Successful applicants will attend and complete the PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program.
