About the Role
The Yard Lead oversees all day-to-day activities within the trench Safety yard and shop, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate handling, inspection, organization, and documentation of equipment. This role provides functional oversight of yard and shop operations, including workflow coordination, equipment readiness, and operational accuracy.
You will support a safe and orderly working environment, ensuring equipment meets established quality standards while maintaining strong coordination with operations teams to meet customer and branch needs. The position involves conducting visual inspections prior to customer release, maintaining an organized yard layout to optimize access and safety, and ensuring the accuracy of all paperwork associated with equipment movement.
