Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSchedule and participate in drop-off or pick-up of consigned vehicles and equipment
- check_circleManage inventory by photographing items, writing descriptions, and maintaining yard organization
- check_circleAssist with diagnosing and disclosing mechanical, electrical, and technical issues
- check_circlePerform visual safety inspections and report concerns to the Vehicle & Equipment Manager
- check_circlePrepare registration, title, tags, and other legal documentation for vehicle and equipment sales
- check_circleEnsure secure storage of consignor keys, vehicles, and equipment
- check_circleComplete intake and pickup documentation accurately while maintaining detailed logbooks
- check_circleWash, vacuum, fuel, and remove snow or ice from vehicles to ensure auction readiness
- check_circleDrive, park, and move vehicles and equipment safely, including jumpstarting when needed
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or GED equivalent
- verifiedValid Alaska driver's license
- verifiedClean driving record
- verifiedAbility to pass a background and reference check
- verifiedProficiency in MS Office and/or Google Workspace applications
- verifiedAbility to lawfully operate motor vehicles (standard and automatic transmissions)
- verifiedOne year of photography experience or training (preferred)
- verifiedFamiliarity with gasoline and diesel engines and 12-volt electrical systems
Nice to Have
Experience with a digital camera or smartphone camera. Knowledge of photography and lighting techniques. One year of photography experience or training.
