About the Role
As a Tree Climber in Training on our General Tree Care Team, you'll play an important role in helping preserve and enhance the health of clients' landscapes. You'll work outdoors, visit beautiful properties, and perform climbing and pruning duties using safe and efficient techniques.
This is a physically active role where safety, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential. You will work alongside some of the best trained and equipped professionals in the industry, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. The position requires climbing trees, working at heights, and lifting and/or moving up to fifty (50) pounds regularly.
Your Journey
You are motivated to work outdoors, eager to develop your climbing skills, and committed to safety. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in tree climbing (without spurs), proper pruning techniques, identifying native and introduced tree and shrub species, tree care safety standards, and chainsaw and equipment operation.
