About the Role

The Project Manager serves as the strategic leader for assigned construction projects, overseeing the full lifecycle from planning and procurement to execution and closeout. This role is critical to maximizing project profitability while upholding Layton's core objectives. You will be the driving force behind delivering predictable outcomes, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and exceeding owner expectations.

This position operates on-site and requires travel to project locations across the United States. Please note that the specific project site may differ from the posted location. If a travel-based role does not align with your current preferences, we encourage you to explore other opportunities within our network.

Our Culture and Approach

At Layton, success is built on "The Layton Way," a philosophy dedicated to delivering predictable results for internal teams, external partners, and customers. We are committed to "Constructing with Integrity," ensuring that every project is executed with honesty, unity, safety, and a relentless focus on quality.

Collaboration is at the heart of our delivery model. You will work closely with your counterpart, the Superintendent, utilizing our "Two in the Box" application to strengthen client relationships and ensure seamless project delivery. This partnership is essential for navigating the complexities of ground-up commercial projects, particularly in the light industrial and cold storage sectors.

Hiring Process

We value transparency and efficiency in our recruitment. Qualified candidates will be invited to discuss their experience and fit for the role in detail. Our process is designed to assess both technical expertise and cultural alignment with Layton's values.

Equal Opportunity Employer

Layton Construction is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate qualified employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, and other legally protected characteristics.
