The Construction Project Manager serves as a critical support to the Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) Project Manager or Program Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations from pre-construction through project completion and warranty periods. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing the safety, quality, schedule, and cost control of single or multiple simultaneous projects.
You will act as the primary interface for client relations, developing new relationships while managing existing ones for proposals and project execution. Your day-to-day involves directing the construction staffing plan, coordinating global practices, and facilitating the efficient utilization of staff. You will lead the downstream request for proposal (RFP) and bid processes, negotiate contracts and change orders, and oversee the development of project execution plans, including safety, quality, and procurement strategies.
In this position, you will also mentor interns, construction coordinators, and craft supervision, fostering their advancement while managing labor burdens, composite crew rates, and equipment inventory. You will ensure compliance with all company policies, governmental requirements, and industry standards, while providing direction on project planning, scheduling, and cost development.
This opportunity is based in Lexington, KY, or Louisville, KY. Candidates must be willing to travel a minimum of one week per month and may be assigned to specific project sites based on project requirements.
