Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide perioperative nursing care for liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant cases
- check_circleAssist with organ implantation procedures in transplant recipients
- check_circleOperate Misonix/CUSA equipment proficiently during surgical procedures
- check_circleCover additional OR cases when transplant cases are not scheduled
- check_circleFloat within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
- check_circleParticipate in on-call coverage including weekly shifts and weekend rotations
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum of 2 years direct OR experience with liver and/or transplant cases
- verifiedDemonstrated experience with organ implantation (recipient care)
- verifiedActive RN license (pending license considered)
- verifiedCurrent AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications
- verifiedNIHSS certification required prior to start date
Nice to Have
Experience with heart, lung, and kidney transplant procedures in addition to liver transplant. Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records charting system.
