About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Travel RN to join a 34-bed Telemetry/Ortho-Trauma unit (7 South) in Austin, Texas. This role is designed to provide critical night shift coverage for a dynamic team managing complex patient needs. You will work alongside a supportive staff structure that includes Charge RNs, RNs, PCTs, and Unit Clerks, utilizing advanced equipment like Welch Allyn monitors and the MediTech EMR.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a culture that values recognition, with staff members frequently honored with ICARE and Daisy Awards. The ideal candidate is outgoing, team-oriented, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment where patient ratios typically range from 1:6 to 1:5. The unit operates on a 12-hour night shift schedule (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with no on-call requirements, though every other weekend is required.
