Travel Step-Down Registered Nurse (IMCU)

About the Role

MVHS Wynn Hospital is seeking an experienced Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU/PCU) Registered Nurse for a high-acuity stepdown unit. This role focuses on caring for adult patients with complex neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions. The unit manages a diverse patient population with diagnoses including COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, post-op recovery, CV stepdown, and neurological conditions.

You will work with advanced specialty equipment, including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, Bipap, and Neptune Vapo systems. The unit also supports chronic vent patients with dedicated respiratory therapy assistance. As a travel nurse, you will be part of a 64-bed IMCU with 15 designated neuro beds, serving an adult-only population. Navy blue scrubs are required for all staff.
