Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage adult patients with high-acuity neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions
- check_circleOperate advanced specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, and Bipap
- check_circleProvide care for chronic vent patients in collaboration with respiratory therapy
- check_circleMonitor and treat patients with diagnoses including COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, and post-op recovery
- check_circleFloat to other units as required by staffing needs
- check_circleDocument patient care and progress using EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- verifiedActive NY RN License
- verifiedCurrent AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- verifiedMinimum 2+ years recent IMCU/PCU experience
- verifiedPrior travel experience required
- verifiedExperience with EPIC EMR required
