About the Role

You will join the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) Surgery Unit 2 at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, providing critical care to patients with complex conditions including trauma, sepsis, stroke, cardiac issues, hematology/oncology, and medical-surgical diagnoses. This 13-week travel assignment focuses on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), where you will manage patient loads with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5. The role requires the flexibility to float to Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units as needed, ensuring seamless coverage across the department.
