Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide speech language pathology services in inpatient and outpatient acute care settings
- check_circleIndependently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
- check_circleAssess and treat adult patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- check_circleDocument patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records
- check_circleManage a hybrid caseload of acute hospital patients and 1–3 adult outpatient visits daily
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- verifiedCurrent Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- verifiedActive California state SLP license
- verifiedCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- verifiedAbility to independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies
- verifiedLA fire card obtained within the last 30 days
Nice to Have
Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting. Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting system. Experience treating adult patients across both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings.
