As a private practice Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping clients overcome communication challenges, improve their speech and language skills, and achieve their educational goals. Under the guidance and supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, your work will directly contribute to the success and well-being of students in our private practice environment.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssist in conducting speech and language assessments under the direction of licensed Speech Language Pathologists
- check_circleProvide speech and language therapy interventions, exercises, and activities to support client communication skills
- check_circleSupport the implementation of treatment plans and carryover of therapy goals
- check_circleMonitor and document client progress, communicating findings to the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- check_circleWork with individual students to reinforce therapy techniques and activities
- check_circleMaintain accurate and up-to-date records, including session notes, progress reports, and billing documentation
- check_circleEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and ethical standards governing speech-language pathology assistant services
Requirements
- verifiedAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in SLPA program or related field
- verifiedState licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLPA
- verifiedPrevious experience as an SLPA in private practice or pediatric setting preferred
Nice to Have
Previous experience as an SLPA in private practice or a pediatric setting.
