This opportunity invites you to travel to Anchorage, Alaska, to serve as a School Psychologist within a Public School District for the 2025-2026 school year. You will work in a school setting providing Special Education Related Services to students in grades K-12.
In this role, you will function as an effective member of a Multi-disciplinary Team, leading collaboration and integration strategies. You will conduct comprehensive assessments—including intelligence, achievement, functional, behavioral, social, emotional, and curriculum-based evaluations—to interpret results for special education eligibility and individual educational needs. Your work will involve providing case management, coordinating care, and offering crisis intervention when appropriate.
You will be responsible for communicating effectively with staff, students, and families, both orally and in writing. A key part of your day will involve leading teams in manifestation determinations, functional behavior assessments, and behavior intervention plans. You will identify individual student needs and develop effective recommendations to help pave the way for future generations to thrive.
