The Pharmacy Technician IV serves as a lead technician within the Research Pharmacy department, supporting the daily operations of the investigational drug service. This role is critical to the management of investigational drug inventory, supply purchasing, and the preparation of investigational products. The position requires a high level of technical proficiency in electronic health records and purchasing software, alongside a deep understanding of investigational drug accountability and sterile compounding.
In this capacity, you will function as a key member of the team, working closely with Research Pharmacy Specialists to maintain clinical trial records and support department quality measures. A significant component of the role involves the education and training of pharmacy students, pharmacy residents, and new employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
