As a Specialty Pharmacy Patient Financial Advocate, you will serve as a critical bridge between patients facing life-threatening or rare diseases and the complex financial landscape of their care. Specialty medications for conditions such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, and multiple sclerosis often come with high costs and strict insurance hurdles. Your mission is to ensure patients can access these vital therapies by navigating insurance authorizations, securing copay assistance, and connecting uninsured individuals with manufacturer programs.
In this hybrid role based at the Southlake Campus, you will act as a compassionate advocate, communicating sensitive financial information clearly to patients and their families. You will investigate prescription benefits, resolve billing denials, and coordinate with pharmacists and clinic staff to remove barriers to treatment. This position requires a blend of critical thinking and empathy to solve problems that directly impact a patient's ability to receive life-saving medication.
Qualified applicants are considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other legally-protected status.
