Located at the UCHealth Anschutz Pavilion in Aurora, our department is a highly specialized unit dedicated to the care of all solid organ transplants, including kidney, liver, pancreas, and heart/lung procedures, as well as thoracic surgery and hepatology. We are pioneers in liver transplantation, boasting extensive experience with living donor liver transplants. Notably, we are the only academic medical center in the Rocky Mountain region with a dedicated Transplant specialty unit.

You will join a dynamic team providing top-of-scope practice in direct patient care within specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units of moderate to high patient acuity. This role is designed for professionals who value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes and prioritize wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
In this fast-paced, innovative clinical environment, you will contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. The position involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver care while welcoming new knowledge. A key aspect of the role is modeling proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth. You will work within evidence-based care models that incorporate AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification standards.
This is a full-time position requiring 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks). The role operates on a Day/Night Rotation or Nights shift schedule. 13-week assignments are available with extension options.
