This role is based at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, within a fast-paced, acute dialysis unit. The team values a multidisciplinary approach to achieve exceptional outcomes, prioritizing wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
You will provide top-of-scope nursing practice in direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to manage moderate to high acuity patients in Acute Care (Med-Surg) units. A key component of this position involves providing direct care for dialysis, including comprehensive patient assessment throughout treatment and the management of dialysis equipment and supplies. The role requires modeling proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth and welcoming new knowledge in an innovative clinical environment.
This is an onsite role with no hybrid or remote options. Local RN traveler contract options are available for those residing within 75 miles, featuring 13-week assignments with extension possibilities.
