Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join a local skilled nursing facility in Norfolk, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on patient care within a post-acute care setting.
Norfolk offers a unique blend of coastal access and urban amenities. The city features waterfront parks such as Town Point Park and Nauticus on the Elizabeth River, and is just a 20-minute drive to Virginia Beach's oceanfront. Cultural attractions include the Chrysler Museum of Art and the Norfolk Botanical Garden, both within a 10–15 minute commute from downtown. The area supports a variety of outdoor activities, including boating on the Intracoastal Waterway and access to state parks within an hour's drive, providing options for both urban and coastal lifestyles.
This 13-week contract begins on May 19, 2026. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week (Days), running from 06:30 to 19:00. The position is based at a skilled nursing facility in Norfolk, VA, and may require floating to other nearby facilities as needed.

Experience with ventilator management and oxygen therapy in post-acute care settings. Advanced certifications such as ACLS or Neonatal/Pediatric certifications, if applicable. Prior experience with electronic medical records used in skilled nursing facilities.
