This opportunity places you in a short-term acute care setting in Dundee, KS, within a dynamic perioperative environment. As a Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator, you will focus on orthopedic, OB/Gyn (including C-sections), and general surgery cases. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced surgical setting and are eager to contribute to critical patient care.
You will circulate in the operating room during surgical procedures, assisting the surgeon and anesthesia team while managing patient positioning, room preparation, and sterile techniques. The role requires maintaining a safe, organized perioperative environment and ensuring accurate counts of instruments and implants. You will also document perioperative care and intraoperative events in the electronic health record and communicate effectively with the surgical team, patients, and families.
The position offers a 4x10-day shift schedule (10-hour days) starting June 21, 2026, for a 13-week contract. You will participate in virtual orientation sessions held weekly and may be required to float to procedural areas such as pain management or interventional radiology as needed. On-call requirements include 8 shifts per month, with some weekends and holidays in rotation.
