About the Role

We are hiring for the Progressive Care Unit at Saint Luke's South in Overland Park, KS. This role is designed for Registered Nurses who are accountable for utilizing the nursing process to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will perform patient care, delegate tasks to other staff, and supervise patient care teams while coordinating care plans for a group of assigned patients.

In the hospital setting, you will consult with other healthcare team members to drive clinical excellence. In the clinic setting, you will provide professional nursing care following established standards, managing telephone triage, patient flow, and emergent appointment scheduling. As a subject matter expert, you will lead patient education, assessment, and documentation, while also performing clinical duties such as IV insertion and medication administration. This position requires the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team, with the flexibility to cover Medical Assistant or LPN duties as needed.
