About the Role
Our Parkville Endocrinology Clinic is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will utilize the nursing process to provide professional nursing care for clinic patients, ensuring optimal outcomes through the coordination of care plans for a group of assigned patients. You will serve as a subject matter expert in patient education, assessment, and documentation, while also acting as a clinical supervisor for other patient care staff.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing phone triage, handling prior authorizations and medication refills, and performing nurse visits for injections. You will coordinate patient flow, schedule emergent appointments, and identify learning needs for patients and families. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will consult with providers and colleagues to ensure high-quality care, while also stepping in to cover Medical Assistant or LPN duties as needed. This position requires the ability to work both autonomously and within a team atmosphere, maintaining excellent customer service and a professional demeanor at all times.
