About the Role

This travel assignment offers a unique opportunity to work as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Camden, Maine, within a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will join a team dedicated to patient care, implementing components of the plan of care under the supervision of a physical therapist. Your day will involve performing therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility tasks while assisting patients with transfers and daily living activities.

In this role, you will monitor patient responses, document progress, and communicate notable changes to the supervising PT. You will also ensure safety, infection control, and adherence to facility policies while maintaining accurate treatment records and preparing equipment for use. This 13-week contract provides a structured environment with guaranteed hours, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care.
