We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join a Dialysis Outpatient Clinic in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring accurate documentation of treatment information and assisting with pre- and post-dialysis assessments. You will play a critical part in monitoring dialysis treatment parameters and responding to emergency situations, including initiating basic CPR measures when necessary.

This position requires a minimum of 12 months of recent dialysis experience and a current Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification. Candidates must have experience with dialysis procedures, treatments, and machines, and must successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis as well as CPR certification. A high school degree or G.E.D. is required, with education in physical sciences or laboratory techniques preferred.
The role involves a floating requirement, where candidates must be willing to work at area sites within 50 miles of the main location. Shifts are scheduled for 5 days a week, 8 hours per day, with a commitment of 40 hours plus overtime. While there is a minimum guarantee of 36 hours per week, eligibility for guaranteed hours is contingent upon adhering to the schedule, accepting float assignments, and maintaining punctuality.
