The position emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest clinical standards while managing diverse patient populations.
The Role in Context
In this unit, you will serve as a vital link in the continuum of care, performing comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring ongoing conditions with acute precision. Your day will involve administering medications and treatments per physician orders, assisting with activities of daily living, and maintaining accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key educational role, guiding patients and families through care plans and discharge instructions while strictly adhering to infection control and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- verifiedActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- verifiedBLS Certification
- verifiedMinimum 1-2 years of recent experience in PCU
- verifiedExperience in hospital or clinical setting
- verifiedExperience with IV therapy, telemetry, and high-acuity patients
Nice to Have
Experience in hospital or clinical setting. ACLS certification.
