About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Dallas, TX. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity healthcare environment. The PCU serves as a critical bridge between general medical-surgical units and intensive care, requiring nurses with strong clinical judgment and adaptability.
The Role
In this position, you will deliver patient-centered care while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest clinical standards. Your day will involve managing multiple patients, performing comprehensive assessments, and monitoring ongoing conditions to detect and report clinical changes promptly. You will play a vital role in patient education, guiding families through care plans and discharge instructions, while maintaining rigorous documentation within EMR systems.
This is a 13-week contract starting as soon as possible, covering nights with a schedule of 5 days x 10 hours. The environment is team-based, demanding a nurse who can navigate complex clinical scenarios with confidence and precision.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- verifiedActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- verifiedBLS Certification
- verifiedMinimum 1-2 years of recent experience in PCU
- verifiedExperience with IV therapy, telemetry, and high-acuity patients
Nice to Have
Experience in hospital or clinical setting. ACLS certification.
