About the Position
TravelNurseSource is partnering with job.com LLC to find a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry for a fast-paced healthcare environment in Chicago, Illinois (60601). This role is designed for a skilled professional dedicated to delivering patient-centered care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high clinical standards.
The Role in Context
As a Telemetry RN, you will be the eyes and ears for patients in a high-acuity, acute care hospital setting. Your day will involve performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring ongoing conditions, and administering medications and treatments per physician orders. You will play a critical role in maintaining patient safety by monitoring vitals and pain levels, reporting clinical changes promptly, and adhering to strict infection control and safety protocols. Beyond clinical duties, you will educate patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions, ensuring a smooth transition of care.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- verifiedActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- verifiedBLS Certification
- verifiedMinimum 1-2 years of recent experience in Telemetry
- verifiedExperience in hospital or clinical setting
- verifiedExperience with IV therapy, telemetry, and high-acuity patients
Nice to Have
Experience in hospital or clinical setting. ACLS certification.
