About the Unit
The Postpartum Mother/Baby unit at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge in Lonetree, CO, is a 26-bed facility dedicated to the care of new mothers and their infants. The team operates with a collaborative structure, featuring a Charge RN alongside 7-8 RNs during the day shift and 6-7 RNs at night, supported by a Licensed Clinical (LC) staff member. Patients are cared for in ratios of 1:3 to 1:4, utilizing the Meditech EMR system.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse on this unit, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to families during the critical postpartum period. Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing essential procedures such as newborn circumcisions and delivering vital education to parents on newborn safety, nurturing, and health. This role requires a patient, caring, and friendly attitude, with a strong priority on patient care and the ability to adapt to a dynamic hospital environment.
