About the Position
Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Medical Surgical and Orthopedic team in Morgantown, WV. This 13-week contract focuses on providing specialized care for patients with orthopedic conditions, joint replacements, and fractures within a 22-bed unit.
The Role
In this position, you will manage a caseload with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6, supported by three Certified Nursing Assistants per shift. The unit operates with a Charge Nurse present 24/7 to ensure continuous oversight. While the primary focus is on orthopedic care, travelers should be prepared to float to other units as needed and participate in the holiday rotation.\n The team utilizes the EPIC charting system. A key aspect of this role is the requirement for strong orthopedic experience, specifically in Total Joint Replacement. Note that Registered Nurses in this unit are not required to read telemetry strips. The dress code for the unit is Royal Blue scrubs.
Shift Details
This role covers weekend day shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The contract begins on June 8, 2026, and runs for 13 weeks.
Requirements for Onboarding
To be eligible for this assignment, candidates must possess an active RN license and a minimum of two years of experience. Specific certifications and checklists required for onboarding include:

- Skills Checklist
- Specialty Exam
