About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Evansville, Indiana, focusing on Med Surg / Telemetry. This position is based at Deaconess Midtown Hospital, a teaching hospital, with the possibility of floating to Deaconess Gateway Hospital and Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

You will join a team managing a complex patient population including cardiac, telemetry, CHF, COPD, AFib, dialysis, and sepsis cases. The role requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to navigate a high-acuity environment. You will work 12-hour day shifts (6:30 AM–7:00 PM) with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Patient ratios typically range from 1:4–5 during the day and 1:5–7 at night. The schedule includes three weekends every six weeks and every other holiday.

This is a unique opportunity for a traveler with strong cardiac and telemetry experience, specifically requiring recent EPIC experience and the ability to pass a telemetry test. We are looking for candidates who can thrive in a Trauma Level II setting and manage cardiac drips with confidence. Please note that this position is not open to local candidates within a 40-mile radius of the hospital.
