TravelNurseSource is partnering with job.com LLC to find a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Geriatrics and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) in Dallas, Texas (75201). This role is designed for a skilled professional ready to join a fast-paced healthcare environment where patient-centered care is the priority.
As a Geriatrics/SNF RN, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high clinical standards while delivering comprehensive care to a high-acuity population. Your day-to-day will involve performing detailed patient assessments, monitoring ongoing conditions, and administering medications and treatments according to physician orders. You will play a vital role in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient mobility, while closely tracking vitals and pain levels to report any clinical changes immediately.
Effective communication is key in this setting; you will educate patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions, ensuring a smooth transition of care. Maintaining accurate documentation within EMR systems (such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech) and strictly adhering to infection control and safety protocols are essential components of your workflow.
