Travel Nurse RN - Geriatrics / Skilled Nursing Facility

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Skilled Nursing unit in a fast-paced healthcare environment in Dallas, TX. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in high-acuity, team-based settings and are dedicated to delivering patient-centered care. The position offers an opportunity to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while ensuring the highest clinical standards for residents in a skilled nursing and acute care setting.

The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will be the backbone of patient care, performing comprehensive assessments and monitoring ongoing conditions with strong clinical judgment. Your day will involve administering medications and treatments per physician orders, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and managing patient mobility. You will be responsible for tracking vitals and pain levels, reporting any clinical changes immediately, and maintaining accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech. Additionally, you will play a key role in educating patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions, ensuring a smooth transition of care.
