Travel Nurse RN - Geriatrics / Skilled Nursing Facility

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Skilled Nursing unit in a fast-paced healthcare environment in Miami, FL. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in high-acuity, team-based settings and are dedicated to delivering patient-centered care.

The Role

As an RN in this facility, you will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high clinical standards are met. Your day will involve performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring ongoing conditions, and administering medications and treatments per physician orders. You will play a vital role in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient mobility, while closely tracking vitals and pain levels to report any clinical changes immediately.

A key part of your responsibilities includes maintaining accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech, and educating patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions. You will also be expected to strictly follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all residents.
