About the Position
Cynet Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team in West Hills, CA. This 12-week contract role focuses on delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing complex gastrointestinal procedures, including EGD, EUS, Colonoscopy, and ERCP.
In this position, you will manage a daily census of 2 to 5 patients, primarily serving adults and geriatric populations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve administering conscious sedation, performing airway management, and providing post-procedure recovery care in the PACU. The role requires a high level of autonomy and precision, as you will be managing patient ratios of 1:1 and handling acute diagnoses such as GI bleeds, anemia, and abdominal pain.
The team operates within a collaborative environment supported by physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. You will utilize the Epic charting system to document care and must be prepared to float between units or travel as needed to support hospital operations. Weekend coverage and on-call duties are integral to the schedule, with a strict 30-minute response time required for on-call shifts.
