This 4-week travel assignment places a Registered Nurse in the Level 1 Trauma and Burn specialty unit at Detroit Receiving Hospital and Harper Hutzel Hospital. As a key member of the Emergency Room team, you will manage a diverse caseload including kidney, cardiac, and respiratory diseases within a 64-bed facility. The role requires floating between the Detroit Receiving and Harper Hutzel locations, utilizing Cerner for charting while maintaining a Navy Blue scrub standard.
The position offers a dynamic day-in-the-life experience in a high-acuity environment. You will work 3 shifts of 12 hours, caring for patients in a Gold Star Stroke Center. Tenet has implemented a specific market rule limiting clinicians to two contracts (1000 hours) within the same market, ensuring a focused and compliant engagement.
Detroit, Michigan, offers a fascinating urban landscape famous for its music and automotive industry. While on assignment, you can explore the Motown Musical Museum to see where legends like Marvin Gaye and Smokey Robinson made their mark, or visit Belle Isle Park, home to a zoo and aquarium. The city's proximity to Canada via a single bridge also provides easy access to further exploration.
