About the Opportunity

NURSE's Etc. Staffing is seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This 8-week assignment begins as soon as possible, offering a dynamic environment for professionals ready to make an immediate impact in acute care.

Role Context

In this role, you will serve as a critical member of the ED team, managing high-acuity patients during evening shifts. The position requires a flexible mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting where every moment counts. You will be working a 12-hour shift schedule (11:45 AM – 12:15 AM), totaling 36 hours per week.

Eligibility Note

Please note that individuals who have been employed by any Ochsner Health facility within the past 12 months are not eligible for this specific contract assignment.

Application Process

To be considered for this assignment, candidates must submit proof of graduation from an accredited school of nursing, along with verification of 2+ years of experience. Required certifications include a current RN license in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association), CPI, ACLS, and PALS. A Bachelor's degree in nursing and clinical specialty certification are preferred.

Compensation Overview

This travel assignment features a competitive pay package based on 12-hour shifts. The compensation includes a tax-free stipend amount to be determined based on the final contract details.
