Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSet appropriate technical parameters and observe image data on monitors
- check_circleMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local technical regulations
- check_circleDeliver quality, cost-effective, and compassionate patient care
- check_circlePosition patients and coils on the table for scanning procedures
- check_circleRecognize and respond to life-threatening situations during scans
- check_circleInject contrast media as required for specific imaging protocols
- check_circleOperate MRI scanners and related equipment to obtain diagnostic images
- check_circleEnsure safety of patients, staff, and visitors regarding magnetic fields
Requirements
- verifiedCompletion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology
- verifiedValid state radiology registration
- verifiedEighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred
- verifiedRegistry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
Nice to Have
Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, ideally in a critical care setting.
