About the Team

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our community. Our MRI department operates with a commitment to precision and patient safety, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging for those in need. We value our team members and strive to create an environment where professional growth and compassionate care go hand in hand.

About the Role

This position is more than just a job; it is a calling. As an MRI Technologist, you will operate advanced scanners to obtain critical images used to diagnose and treat various pathologies. You will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients, selecting accurate technical parameters, and administering contrast media within the scope of practice. Your work ensures that high-quality images and documents are promptly submitted to the PACS system, directly impacting patient care outcomes.

The role requires a constant state of alertness and a safe working manner. You will perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education, while also maintaining a clean and orderly department. While the position is primarily focused on evening shifts from Monday to Friday (14:00-22:30), on-call duties are very rare, typically only required if overnight coverage cannot be found due to PTO or unexpected absences.

Hiring Process

Qualified external candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000. To apply, please submit your application through the SSM Health careers portal. The hiring team will review your qualifications, including your completion of an MRI or Radiology Technology program and relevant certifications (ARRT-MR or ARMRIT). Successful candidates will be invited to discuss their experience and fit for our team further.

Equal Opportunity

SSM Health is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
