- check_circleProvide direct patient care on a Pulmonary/Medical Surgical unit
- check_circleManage and monitor patients requiring Heparin drips and pulmonary-related interventions
- check_circleServe in a charge nurse capacity as needed
- check_circleFloat across multiple campuses within the health system as required
- check_circleAdhere to holiday scheduling requirements including designated summer holidays
- check_circleProvide care for COVID-positive patients when assigned
Requirements
- verifiedActive Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license
- verifiedMinimum 24 months of current Medical Surgical experience
- verifiedPulmonary patient care experience
- verifiedCharge nurse experience
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- verifiedValid driver's license
Nice to Have
Experience caring for pulmonary and ventilated patients, including bi-pap and trach care. Level I Trauma experience. Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months.
